Our chalet 214 has recently been totally renovated and fully refurbished to a high standard.
We are one of few chalets situated at the end of a row with grassland to one side and a 10ft + gap to the next chalet on the other side. This gives a much more ‘private’ feel to the accommodation. This lakeside chalet captures the sun on the newly laid patio all afternoon long. A proper ‘sun trap’. The last few years have seen herons nesting on the lake directly at the back of chalet. Dunster Beach is a haven for wildlife and fauna and is truly a place to ‘get away from it all’ and experience some of the simpler things in life that we don’t always take time to do and appreciate.
The historic picturesque medieval village of Dunster is just under a 2 mile walk or a 5 minutes drive away, with numerous gift shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. The seaside resort of Minehead can be reached by walking along the beach and golf course in around 30 to 40 minutes or 5 minutes by car. Many other places of interest are available within a short drive. The whole of the area has many fabulous walks to enjoy with fantastic scenery all around.
The onsite shop/cafe and beach are both only a few minutes walk away.
Although best suited to couples the chalet will sleep up to 4 people by means of 1 double bed and a pull-out double sofa bed.
We have a brand-new fitted bathroom with its own shower, toilet and wash basin.
Fitted out to a high standard you will have everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. There is a 32″ Freeview TV with built in DVD player (bring your own DVD’s if required) microwave oven, electric oven with hob, kettle, toaster, fridge with small freezer compartment. USB ports are plentiful. (Please note that Wi-Fi reception on site whilst available is generally quite poor.)
Outside you will find a part fenced open patio at the rear with a dining table set with parasol. Sunloungers can be found in the storage box at the side of the chalet. There is a smaller patio at the front with ranch style fencing.
We have ourselves been visitors to Dunster Beach for over 50 years now and hope that you can enjoy ‘The Beach’ and chalet as much as we do!
